One of our very favourite homeschool curriculums over the years has been The Story of the World Series by Susan Wise Bauer. Learning about history in story format is so much better than reading dry textbooks and filling in worksheets!
Although there are many ways to use Story of the World in your homeschool, by far our favourite way is to simply read the chapters together and talk about it. We also love to keep notebooks of our narrations and draw whatever part of the story captures our imagination!
