One of our favourite read alouds here has been E. B. White’s Charlotte’s Web. It’s such a wonderful story! And if you haven’t heard the audio version narrated by White himself, you need to get your hands on it — it’s really worth listening to.
So when I was wanting to make some book marks for my 8 year old daughter (who is an insatiable reader), I thought that Charlotte & Wilbur would provide some wonderful reading inspiration! I made 5 barnyard themed bookmarks featuring some favourite quotations from the book. They are really sweet!
Now hopefully I’ll stop seeing a half dozen books all over the house with toys & other books being used to hold the page (or worse, left open and upside down – one of my pet peeves).
I hope your children enjoy them too!
Super excited that you put these up. My kids both love Charlotte’s Web as much as I do. We just signed up yesterday to go and see the play.
That sounds like fun!
nice little bookmarks you made there. Charlotte’s Web is a good book. 🙂
Thanks Annette!
Thanks Annette:)
I would like to use these as part of my virtual classroom for Charlotte’s Web. Would that be ok?
