I’m Alison, and I’m Learning Mama!
I’m a Canadian homeschooling mama to three sweet girls. I view homeschooling through the lens of discipleship, education as a lifelong endeavour, and am thankful that I can begin each day anew by the grace of God. I’ve been homeschooling now for over a decade, and I’m nearing the end of the journey now with my oldest — what a ride!
There is so much to learn, isn’t there? My journey thus far has taught me one thing: the more I learn, the more I find there is yet to learn. I’ve been voraciously searching and consuming information since the birth of my first daughter. It started with nursing and sleeping and has progressed to education and discipleship. Somewhere along the way my husband and I decided that homeschooling was a good fit for our family and now I’m learning alongside my children all the things that I missed or forgot during my own early education.
I’m a lover of good books, all things chocolate, and the great outdoors. Pretty much in that order. I also love to write and share ideas. When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being an author, and this blog, my little piece of the internet, is probably the closest I’ll come to that but I’m enjoying it immensely.
